Karen Bell, violin, is a graduate of McGill University. She is a  founding member of Trio Amore and performs in L’Ensemble Sinfonia de Montréal and l'Orchestre Symphonique Pop de Montréal .Her lifelong passion for violin playing began at the age of seven when she convinced her parents to sign her up in the Suzuki violin program. She further enhanced her musical training under the tutelage of Eva Svenssen and Andrée Azar of the Montreal Symphony Orchestra. Karen now shares her love of music with her three sons. She teaches privately, runs violin programs in local elementary schools in Montreal and will be teaching chamber music for children this summer at the CAMMAC Music Centre, located in the Laurentians.

Gill Delplace, cello, is a graduate of McGill University (B.Mus, L.Mus). Her love of music has seen her participate in many ensembles, both here in Montreal and in Toronto. She is a founding member of L'Ensemble Sinfonia de Montreal and Trio Amore.  She also teaches part-time, specializing in adults. Gill's goal has always been to foster an appreciation of music making, no matter what your level, a philosophy she passes on to her students.
